1. Stockyards Championship Rodeo. Now through 12/31/2007, every Friday and Saturday night at the Cowtown Coliseum in the Stockyards, you and your family can enjoy a traditional rodeo, complete with horses, cows, bulls, and barrels. 2. Test out the Wii for Free. Is your kiddo asking for a Nintindo Wii for Christmas, but you're just not too sure if they'd like it or not? 1. Shrine Circus. It's not quite as expensive as the "other" circus, but since I haven't been to this one, I can't say whether it's as good as the "other" circus, either. Place: Will Rogers Memorial Center Time: Varies Cost: $15.00
2. 21st Annual Old Country Christmas Ethnic Festival (Friday and Saturday). This event sounds like a great opportunity to educate and to have fun. The festival features over 40 holiday ethnic pastries (YUM!!) from different cultures, as well as imported ethnic gifts and crafts. Place: St. Barbara Orthodox Church 5201 Altamesa Blvd. Ft. Worth, Texas 76133. Time: Doors open at 9am both days. Cost: FREE admission
3. Fort Worth International Motorcycle Show (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). This event could be a great father-son bonding experience. See all hundreds of motorcycles and ATV's under one roof. Custom motorcycles and demonstrations. Location: Fort Worth Convention Center. Time: Friday, 4p-9p, Sat, 9:30a-8p and Sunday 9:30am to 5pm Cost: $10 for adults, $6 for kids
4. Fort Worth Greek Festival (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Here's another educational opportunity to show your children about another culture, while having fun yourself and gorging on ethnic foods! The festival will feature all the favorite Greek foods, including Athenian Chicken, Lamb, Shish-ka-bob, Gyros and many more! There will be folk dancing and a live band. Bring the kids to the outdoor Children’s Activity Area, take a tour of the Church Sanctuary with Father Michael, visit the Gift Shop, rain or shine (nearly everything is indoors or under tents). Baked and frozen foods will also available, including pastries, breads, desserts and ready to heat dishes. Browse the Fine Jewelry display of imported gold & silver, crosses, rings, earrings and many others.

FRIDAY, November 9
1. Ridgmar Mall - 4th Annual Santa's Arrival Party. Santa's coming to town at Ridgmar Mall on Friday from 4:00pm - 6:00pm. There will be fun games, awesome prizes, and cool Radio Disney music! Santa will even be arriving at 5:00pm! Place: Ridgmar Mall, 1888 Green Oaks Road Time: 4-6pm, with Santa's arrival at 5pm. Cost: FREE!
SATURDAY, November 10
1. N.E. Recycles Day Flea Market. From their website: "In celebration of Texas Recycles Day, the 8th annual NE Recycles Day Flea Market will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, at The Hills, 6357 Boulevard 26. Vendors will be selling used goods. Residents can drop off for recycling unwanted electronic equipment such as computers, printers, monitors, VCRs, video/digital cameras, etc. There will also be on site paper shredding and recycling for unwanted documents from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. only. 1. 'Wonderful Wednesdays: Declaring Space' at the Fort Worth Modern Museum.
